Jaime—pronounced both the English and the Spanish way—is one of six children.  He was born and raised in Port Huron, Michigan, and moved out to California with Todd for graduate school. 

“I think raising a child together with Todd will be oneof the most rewarding, challenging, and life-enhancing experiences for me.  I want to raise a child who will have every opportunity to chase his or her dreams.” 

Jaime stays close with his dad, step mom, and siblings. We all get together as a whole family about once a year and often spend holidays together. Jaime is an amateur triathlete, and loves swimming, biking, and running.  “I used to teach kids to swim when I was in high school and college. I hope to teach my baby how to swim and to love the water.” 

Jaime loves reading fiction, biographies, and poetry.  “I will really enjoy reading to our little one.”
