Our commitment ceremony (2003), looking out at the beautiful San Francisco bay.

We met in college in 1993 while Todd was in his senior year—just about to graduate—and Jaime had just started graduate school.  We grew close very quickly and soon knew that we'd spend our lives together.  On our tenth anniversary, we held a commitment ceremony in San Francisco, California, and were surrounded by nearly 100 friends and family from across the country.

Today, both of us work at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where Todd is a professor and Jaime is a chief administrative officer. Our flexible work schedules will allow us to spend a lot of time at home with our baby. We live on UCLA's beautiful campus in a nice apartment as part of the Faculty-In-Residence Program. We place a high value on education and want to instill a love of learning in our child.

At home we're relaxed and laid back and enjoy cooking, watching American Idol (and other reality TV shows), playing with our two cats, reading, and surfing for our favorite music videos on Youtube.com.
