Todd grew up in a tight-knit family in Miami , Florida .  He has one younger brother who lives in San Francisco.  Todd is very close with his family – all of whom now live on the West coast in California and Nevada. 

Todd teaches literature, film, and media studies at UCLA, where he has been a professor since 2002.  He loves working with the students at UCLA and places a high value on college education. 

In his spare time, Todd enjoys anything outdoors: Rock climbing, hiking, camping, jogging, and rollerblading.  “I can't wait to play with our child and take him or her camping.  I look forward to instilling a love of nature.”
